About
Friends of FUSD
Friends of FUSD is a grassroots group of parents and community members working together to support strong, vibrant public schools in the Flagstaff Unified School District.
FUSD is at the heart of public education in our community, serving students from preschool through high school and providing opportunities that include arts and music, athletics, career and technical education, STEM, gifted and special education, and advanced coursework.
Founded by Kristine Pavlik and Lindsey Spear in the summer of 2026, Friends of FUSD is a Political Action Committee created to build community support for Propositions 407 and 409. These measures provide locally controlled funding for teachers and staff, educational programs, technology, transportation, school facilities, safety improvements, and other essential student resources.
We believe strong public schools benefit every student and strengthen our entire Flagstaff community. We’d love for you to support our work and get involved—use the contact form below to connect with Friends of FUSD and learn how you can help.
